Red Cheesecake Recipe



Red cheesecake or oftenly known as red Velvet cheesecake is an America originated cake. It is one of the most delicious cake and red color make it look aesthetic. One can use it on special occasions birthdays, Festivals etc.

To ease it complexity we have divided the ingredients and working into subparts each process has its own working and requirements.

Ingredients

Cheesecake Ingredients

v  450 grams of cheesy cream

v  115 grams of sour cream  

v  100 ml of heavy cream

v  140 grams of sugar

v  2 eggs

v  1 teaspoon of vanilla

v  A small pinch of salt

Red Cake Ingredients

v  310 grams of all-purpose flour

v  2 tablespoons of Cocoa powder

v  1 teaspoon of salt

v  300 grams of sugar

v  1-2 teaspoon of baking soda

v  250 ml of buttermilk

v  Cooking oil of 400 ml

v  2 eggs

v  2 teaspoon vanillas

v  1 teaspoon vinegar

v  120 grams of butter

v  2 tablespoon of food color (Red)

Frosting ingredients

v  120 ml of heavy cold cream

v  120 grams of butter

v  450 grams of creamy cheese

v  160 grams of sugar (in powder)

v  1 teaspoon of Vanilla

v  White chocolate shavings

 

Preparation time: 2 hours

Working time: 1 ½ hours

 

Working

For Cheesecake

v  Before baking heat, the oven to 170°C. Take a springform pan and wrap it tightly with aluminum foil and put it into another roasting pan.

v  Take a large bowl add sugar and cream cheese, whisk on medium speed until they get smooth. Add eggs one by one and keep whisking. Then add salt, vanilla, heavy cream, and sour cream and whisk it until it gets mixed and smooth.

v  Now put this mixture into the springform pan you have prepared previously.  Then add boiling water in roasting pan. The water must come halfway up the sides of the springform pan.

v  Put it in the oven and left for baking. bake it for 45 minutes and when it gets set turn the heat off from the oven and cool it for 30 minutes inside oven and take the cake out. Then cool it outside and put it into the refrigerator/freezer. Cool it in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours, you can leave it overnight as well.

For Red Cake

v  Before baking heat, the oven to 175°C. Take two round baking pans. Wet it with butter and then add flour dust

v  Take a large bowl, add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Mixed them well.

v  Take another large bowl. Add sugar and butter and mix them well until it gets smooth. Add eggs one by one in the mixture and make sure they get properly mixed. Add vinegar, buttermilk, oil, vanilla and whisk the mixture until it gets smooth. Then add dry ingredients one by one and make sure they get mixed properly. Atlas add food color in the mixture and mix it well

v  Put this mixture in the prepared pan and put the pan in the oven. Bake the batter for 30 minutes and it becomes thick, and it must not stick if we put anything in it i.e., toothpick.

v  Take the cake out of oven and cool it for 30 minutes. When it gets cool take the cake and cut the top.

For Frosting

v  Take a large bowl and whisk the cream cheese in it with butter than add sugar and vanilla and keep mixing until it gets smooth.

v  Take another bowl and add heavy cream and beat it to stiff peaks. Then place into cream cheese mixture

Assembly

v  Take a cake layer and place into the center of another plate or cake plate. Pour a thin layer of frosting on it. Take the cheesecake out of refrigerator and place a layer of it on the frosted layer. Add another layer of frosting. Add a red cake layer on top after frosting. Trim the edges to fit the cake

v  At last, take the cake and spread frosting layer on it and in sides as well. Spread white chocolate shavings over the top of the cake and decorate the cake properly and carefully

v  Put it in the freezer for the minimum of 2 hours and enjoy this delicious cake
