Monkey Bread Recipe



Monkey bread is one of the delicious bread you can make at your home its very soft fresh and you can have it with caramel sauce.

Ingredients

v  630grams of all-purpose flour

v  400grams sugar

v  1 teaspoon salt

v  2 teaspoons of dry yeast

v  320ml fresh milk

v  200 grams of butter

v  1 tablespoon cinnamon

v  60-70ml water

v  130ml Heavy cream

v  2 eggs

Preparation time: 2 hours

Working time: 30 minutes

 

Working

v  Take all-purpose flour and knead it properly. Put sugar, yeast and salt and mix it properly.

v  Make a well in a center of knead flour and put eggs milk and melted butter around 70grams.

v  By using the hook attachment knead the dough on medium speed and do it until the dough becomes soft and smooth this will take 4 to 5 minutes.

v  Put the dough in an oily bowl cover it until it become double of its original size, this will take around an hour.

v  For coating mix sugar and cinnamon.

v  For caramel sauce take a saucepan add sugar and water and heat it on medium flame so that sugar get solved and turned as Brown, don't shake and then remove the pan from heat quicky put heavy cream and mix it until all cream is mixed in it and add butter in it.

v  Press the dough to release air put it on the lightly floured surface and make small pieces of it. Make the ball from those small pieces than mix each of these balls in super cinnamon mixture.

v  Take cake pan and out 3 tablespoon of the caramel sauce and arrange balls in the pan put 2-3 tablespoon of caramel sauce and repeat the procedure until it makes three layers add another 3-2 tablespoon of caramel sauce cover it until it become double of its size.

v  Heat the oven to 180c before baking

v  Bake it for half an hour until it turns golden brown

v  Set it for 5 minutes for cooling and put it on serving plate you can add as much as caramel sauce as you like and enjoy it with your family.
